UPPER VALLEY SAILS
Traffic Circle located on Upper Valley & Country Club Roads
On July 19th, the City of El Paso Public Art Program and Representative Ann Morgan Lilly unveiled Upper Valley Sails, a kinetic sculpture designed by artist Doug Taylor, located on the traffic circle intersection of Country Club and Upper Valley Roads.

Sun Metro Sees Increase in Ridership during First Quarter
Sun Metro ridership increased by 8.15 percent during the first quarter of 2010 while national ridership figures saw a 3.32 percent decrease for bus systems with city populations between 500,000 and 1,999,999, according to the American Public Transportation Association (APTA).

Sun Metro Hosts Public Meetings
Mass Transit Department Proposes Fare Increase for 2011
Sun Metro has hosted five community meetings and will host three more to discuss a proposed fare increase for regular, students and LIFT passengers. The proposal does not increase the fare for senior and disabled passengers, and calls for the elimination of transfer fees.
