Beginning May 3, 2010 several City departments will be changing their operational hours as part of a 4/10 work week program that is saving the City an estimated $213,000 over a five month period. The program will work as follows:
Monday, May 3, 2010 to Friday, October 1, 2010
Monday through Thursday schedule (closed on Fridays)

Code Violation of the Month
Code violations linked to motor vehicle licensing will be targeted this month, the Code Compliance Division of the City of El Paso Environmental Services Department announced. Each month, the division highlights a specific code violation to increase community awareness of laws addressing blight and public nuisances, which were designed to protect the environment, as well as the safety, health and welfare of our citizens.

There are new traffic signals in Northeast El Paso. The City of El Paso Street Department recently installed traffic signals at the intersections of: Fairbanks and Kenworthy; Diana and Stahala; and Sun Valley and Rushing.
