Rose Garden Offers Grand Venue for Your Viewing Pleasure
The City of El Paso Parks and Recreation Department now has one of the most state of the art, beautiful and enlightening venues in the city that sits proudly in central El Paso. The Rose Garden at 3418 Aurora is available for the public to visit.
The Rose Garden hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Rose Garden was recently expanded at a cost of $750,000. The Garden now has a new waterfall, new irrigation and over double the previous space of the facility. The design of the Rose Garden is second to none as it also has a pond with Koi fish, a walking path to view the extensive collection of roses along with a plaza area.
The entire Rose Garden area now spans over 4 acres. The Rose Garden Society members and the Texas A&M Extension Service have also been partners in this endeavor that took over a year to complete.
The Rose Garden has been used for weddings, quinceañeras, anniversaries and high school and college graduation events over the years. For more information call 541-4331.
