Community Input Creates New Jogging Path at Vista Del Valle Park

Come early June, the community can now enjoy a new jogging/walking path featured in Vista Del Valle Park.

Remodeling to the Vista Del Valle Park now comes complete with a new jogging path. This project, completed within the Capital Improvement Project, was initially approved for remodeling this multi-purpose center and was first completed back in 2004. However, upon the recommendation of a constituent and with additional funding being available, a new jogging path was added to enhance the project. Construction on this project began on August 8, 2005 and is expected to be completed in early June.

Project highlights:

The path includes a trail that extends approximately 3,000 ft. in distance
Improvements included the completion of the entire park irrigation system
Funding was provided by the voter approved 2004 Bond Issue at a cost of $355,000

The jogging path comes as a highly anticipated addition to the recently improved amenities of the park and center that the entire neighborhood can benefit from in this facility. Vista Del Valle Park is located adjacent to the Multipurpose Center on Viscount.
