Sun Metro to Launch Summer Fun Pass

Sun Metro will launch its 2006 Summer Fun Pass campaign "Don't Walk - Ride" May 29, 2006. Area businesses are invited to join Sun Metro by opening their doors to area youth and offering specials when presenting the Fun Pass. Buy-one-get-one-free, a free item with the purchase of admission or receive a gift are all ways in which businesses can participate. All donors will be recognized in all print advertising promoting the Summer Fun Pass.

The Fun Pass program encompasses a specially discounted student pass for unlimited rides on Sun Metro buses and trolleys from Memorial Day (May 29) through Labor Day (September 4), 2006. The cost of the pass is $10.00. This is a significant savings of $50.00 compared to the regular monthly student pass of $20.00. A parent or guardian is also allowed to ride with the child for free with a Parent/Guardian ID card. Area youth will have the ability to access public transportation to go to work, school, City parks, recreation centers, libraries, swimming pools, the Zoo, museums and any other hot spot in the community for only $10 all summer.

We look forward to making this year the greatest ever for El Paso's youth. Support Local Youth today by calling 533.3333 and become a partner.
