New oLo Building

Creative Kids hosted a grand opening for the new oLo Building located at 504 San Francisco St. on October 19,2006. The grand opening showcased the new home of the Creative Kids Gallery, Art Studios, Multimedia Lab and Administration Offices to be called to oLo Building.
The facility is 16,000 square feet, which assist our community's disadvantaged youth to strengthen their talents for artistic expression and to increase their critical life skills development, primarily for the workplace.
Creative Kids, is a non-profit 501(C)(3), organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of children through the arts. With this new and larger facility, Creative Kids are able to reach out to more disadvantaged youth battling cancer and children with disabilities. It also allows for the ability to offer classes to the general public.
The new oLo Building is equipped with a children's gallery, a state-of-the-art media lab with G-4 and G-5 Mac computers, art studios that include: painting, welding, silk screening, fashion design, photography, and a kitchen where children's cooking classes will be offered. It is also a home to other non-profit organizations sharing the same mission as Creative Kids.
Community Development Block Grant Program funded this project for the amount of $566,178.
The mission of Creative Kids, Inc. is to enhance the lives of children with cancer, youth living in public housing, disabled, and disadvantaged youth through the arts.
