SERVICE IS BACK: William Beaumont Army Medical Center & VA Health Center
On Sunday March 18th, Sun Metro reinstated service to William Beaumont Army Medical Center and the VA Health Center using routes 36, 41, and 57.
As a result of 9-11, Sun Metro bus service into Beaumont Medical Center and the VA Health Center was temporarily interrupted. Sun Metro has continued to make the service available in the vicinity by detouring through Alabama Street. Sun Metro is glad to announce that service is back! Staff has worked in conjunction with military officials to reinstate regular bus service, but not before ensuring heightened security levels.
Sun Metro continues to make service improvements and reminds passengers that route schedules will not be affected. Bus service will enter and exit through the Fred Wilson Gate.
ROUTE ADJUSTMENTS
- Route 36: Beaumont via Highland
- Route 41: Northgate via Piedras
- Route 57: Beaumont Hospital via Airport
