City Holds Community Meetings on Storm Water Management
Storm 2006 left behind significant property damage. All efforts to expedite the critical infrastructure work that is necessary have been initiated as a priority to ensure the preservation of health and safety of the community.
To assist in this situation, City management has proposed to create a "Storm water Management Function" under the auspices of the Public Service Board. This would expand the scope of Water/Wastewater utility to include storm water management.
City Manager, Joyce Wilson along with Ed Archuleta from El Paso Water Utilities will be presenting the information on the Storm water management proposal. The community's participation and involvement in this important issue is requested. To view previous presentations on the proposal, please visit the City's homepage - News and Notices Section - www.elpasotexas.gov and click on "Storm Water Management."
