Ysleta Skate Park - Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Representative Holguin along with the Departments of Parks and Recreation and Community and Human Development will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Ysleta Skate Park located at 9068 Socorro Road.
The Ysleta Skate Park Improvements were funded in the 31st CDBG Year (2005-2006) for $594,604.
Improvements include:
- an installation of modular skate park equipment,
- new irrigation,
 - a 10 foot walking/jogging path,
- a rock wall,
- light poles,
- trash receptacles,
- benches,
- picnic tables with shelters,
- wheelchair ramps and sidewalk accessibility,
- 50 trees,
- Reconditioned trenches with Bermuda grass,
- A double-sided park name sign,
- Park rule signs,
- And a skate park rule sign.
