Ysleta Skate Park - Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Representative Holguin along with the Departments of Parks and Recreation and Community and Human Development will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Ysleta Skate Park located at 9068 Socorro Road.

The Ysleta Skate Park Improvements were funded in the 31st CDBG Year (2005-2006) for $594,604.

Improvements include:

• an installation of modular skate park equipment,
• new irrigation,

• a 10 foot walking/jogging path,
• a rock wall,
• light poles,
• trash receptacles,
• benches,
• picnic tables with shelters,
• wheelchair ramps and sidewalk accessibility,
• 50 trees,
• Reconditioned trenches with Bermuda grass,
• A double-sided park name sign,
• Park rule signs,
• And a skate park rule sign.
