Purpose
The Neighborhood Revitalization Plan is a comprehensive and holistic strategy and approach outlining and detailing specific goals and objectives; specific actions to accomplish the stated goals and objectives with identified measurable outcomes to recreate communities of opportunities in distressed neighborhoods by stimulating the reinvestment of human and economic capital and empowering residents to participate in the neighborhoods resurgence. The planning process for El Segundo Barrio – Neighborhood Revitalization Strategy began in September 2008. The proposed plan is available in both English and Spanish.
On June 11, 2009, the following presentation highlights the goals and objectives presented to residents at a public meeting held at the Armijo Recreation Center.
