Neighborhood Improvement Program (NIP)

 

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

 

Purpose
The Neighborhood Improvement Program is part of the overall Capital Budget that provides an opportunity for Recognized Neighborhood Associations to propose permanent and public improvements and/or enhancements to their neighborhood in partnership with the City to enhance the quality of life throughout the community.

NIP ROUND III

The NIP III proposal process will have two phases: 1) Pre-application; and 2) Final application.
  • Pre-application will be reviewed by the Neighborhood Improvement Committee (NIRC) in order to determine eligibility and feasibility of the proposed project.
  • Approved pre-applications will be invited to submit a final application.
  • Final applications require proof of neighborhood support, a City Engineering cost estimate and other relevant information.
