It is very important that if you see, know or think that an animal is being mistreated and neglected that you immediately report it to:

Animal Control Officers are trained to respond to any animal cruelty or neglect call. The officers respond and investigate all animal cruelty and neglect calls made by the public. Hundreds of our community animals are picked up off the street or taken by owners who turn them in because they do not want them anymore - they are put up for adoption at Animal Control's new facility. Animal regulation enforces animal control laws using Title 7 health and safety code and state laws. Adoptions are 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday - Saturday. The cost is $65 (dogs and cats). The public can view for Lost Animals and possible Adoptions on a 24-7 schedule in the A, B, and C, kennels which are located on the eastside of the main office (outdoors).

Note: Pets with tags will be kept for only 5 days, Pets without tags will only be kept for 3 days then they will be euthanized.
