Permanent Exhibits

The North Gallery houses several exhibits of artifacts from many different cultures in the Southwest and Mexico, both ancient and modern, including basketry, ceramics, wood carvings, textiles, stone tools and ornaments. Be sure to open the recently added visible storage drawers where many objects from our collections not normally on display can be seen.

The South Gallery features dioramas depicting the everyday lives of Indians in the El Paso region of the Southwest from the Ice Age to the Twentieth Century.

There are also a number of outdoor exhibits that can be seen on our walking trails.
