El Paso Animal Services is composed of a committed team of animal care professionals who strive to maintain the health, safety and welfare of the public and pets in the El Paso community and surrounding municipalities. Our staff enforce animal control laws, educate the public about responsible pet ownership, and provide care and comfort to abandoned and stray pets. Services Include:

Animal Services staff carries out Health and Safety practices for the State Zoonosis Control:

  • Overpopulation of animals in unhealthy situations
  • Rabies suspected animals seen in public
  • Injured animals that could pose health problems

Open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The public can look for lost animals and possible adoptions on a 24-7 schedule in the A, B, and C kennels which are located on the Eastside of the main office area. There are also more animals available inside and can be viewed with an escort 7 days a week from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. To request an escort, please visit the front desk inside the main lobby of the shelter.
