Ecotourism Initiative
Mission Statement:
To build on and promote outdoor assets like our mountain, river, arroyos, and other great natural venues through activities like street and mountain biking, climbing, hiking and walking; this will provide opportunities for both Paseños and tourists to explore our natural environment and beautiful geographic settings.
Immediate Goal:
To create a comprehensive inventory of all assets and groups/organization that utilize those assets in order to promote a tourism market (and a local market) based on our area's natural resources.
2006 Goal:
To create a New Texican EcoAwareness Council
2007 Goal:
The New Texican Bike Ride, November 2007
