SUMMER CONCERT SERIES
The City of El Paso Museums and Cultural Affairs Department (MCAD) is currently accepting applications for the 2015 season of Music Under the Stars and Dancing in the City. MCAD encourages local and touring musical talent to apply before the application deadline on Thursday, December 18, 2014.

Since 1983, the City of El Paso has programmed an outdoor summer concert program known as Music Under the Stars at the Chamizal National Memorial. The summer concert series will take place Sundays from 7:30pm to 9:30pm starting between the months of June through August. The outdoor concert series features local and international performers and draws over 60,000 attendees.
Dancing in the City is an outdoor dance concert series at Convention Center Plaza presented in collaboration with El Paso Live. The event takes place every Saturday between the months of June and July from 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm. The event offers attendees a live dance lesson taught by professional dancers, one hour prior to the live music performance. Both, local and touring musical talent are invited to apply.

Chalk the Block is quickly becoming an El Paso signature event. Located at the Union Plaza District (near The Garden Restaurant) the market offers original arts and crafts, food vending, and entertainment from local artists and artisans in El Paso County.
