Think you’re the best in town?
Enter the 5th Annual What’s Up Best of the Best

The category for best artist is up for a public vote at the What’s Up Dig (May 14, details to be announced), the official voting party for the Best of the Best. For the second year, artists can submit a sample of their work so voters can check it out – on the spot – before they cast their ballots.

    Guidelines to Submit:
    • You will need to provide What’s Up with a high-resolution (300 dpi) photo of your artwork by May 2, 2008.
    • You can drop off the image on a CD at our office:
Attn: What’s Up – Best Artist

Or e-mail it to editor@whatsuppub.com if it’s under 5 MB.
    • Please include your name, phone number, and the title of your work and its original media.
We will print out the image in color on a 11x17 sheet for display at the What’s Up Dig. We will include your name, the artwork’s title and the original media.

The Best Artist category will be a write-in category on the ballot; voters can write in whichever artist they believe to be best. You don’t have to submit a sample to be included in the vote; however, it’s the only way to expose your work to Best Of voters.

    Questions?
    E-mail editor@whatsuppub.com or call Ryan at 534-4422 ext. 140.
