A Step Back in Time

Things are happening at the El Paso Museum of History gift shop, A Step Back in Time. The gift shop carries historical trinkets, jewelry, and books for all ages. More kid-friendly merchandise is on its way: die cast pencil sharpeners, goose quill pens, ink bottles, leather pouches for marbles or coins, and Marshal badges. Current book titles are John Wayne American by Randy Roberts and James S. Olson; The Secret War in El Paso: The Mexican Revolution Between 1906 and 1920; and The Archaeologist Was a Spy, both by Charles H. Harris III and Louis R. Sadler. The museum is also featuring many books by local author Pat Mora. These include: My Own True Name, The Desert Is My Mother-El Desierto Es Mi Madre, and Delicious Hullaballo-Pachanga Deliciosa.

Stop by and meet the gift shop staff: Sofia Wilson, the museum Senior Office Assistant will welcome you during the History Museum’s regular hours and Ivonne Banuelos will assist you Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. El Paso Museum of History Members receive a 10% discount on all merchandise. Your purchase from A Step Back in Time benefits the History Museum education programs.
