Volunteer Opportunities

Individuals interested in volunteering at the museum have several options. Many volunteers become docents, or trained tour guides, and lead tours around the galleries. Volunteer docents receive an intensive course in regional archaeology as well as training in museum educational techniques. Other options for volunteers are helping in either Exhibits or Collections. These areas include supervised activities ranging from Exhibit building to cataloging artifacts to writing condition reports for artifacts in the Collections.
